The Republican Party’s vice presidential nominee, U.S. Senator JD Vance (R-OH), will travel to Nashville next week to attend a fundraiser hosted by Nashville businessman and former Trump administration official Adam Boehler and his wife, Shira Boehler, according to a flier for the event first obtained by the Tennessee Lookout.

The fundraiser will be held on August 27 at an undisclosed location in Nashville.

The U.S. Senate unanimously confirmed that Boehler would serve as the first chief executive officer of the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation in 2019. Before that, Boehler was appointed director of the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services in 2018.

Other notable co-hosts listed for the event include the founders and operators of the payday lending company Advance Financial, Mike and Tina Hodges; Damon Hininger, CEO of CoreCivic, and his wife, Carrie; Dan Crockett, founder of Franklin American Mortgage, and his wife, Joy Crockett; auto dealer Lee Beaman; and Julie Hannah, former chair of the Williamson County Republican Party.

Brad Smith, founder and CEO of Russell Street Ventures, is also listed as a co-host for the event.

Smith previously served as chief of staff at the Tennessee Department of Economic Development and in multiple roles in the Trump administration, including the director for the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation, deputy director of the White House Domestic Policy Council, and senior advisor to the secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

Tennessee Senators Bill Hagerty (R-TN) and Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) are among the special guests listed for the event.

Tickets for the event start at $2,500 per person.

Vance’s trip to Nashville comes exactly one month after former President Donald Trump visited Music City on July 27 to deliver the keynote speech at the world’s largest Bitcoin conference, Bitcoin 2024.
